Backtrack is very pleased to welcome Shiftless, ambient legend in the world of netlabels. "White Mountains," the song he calls "his best work to date," is restful, yet manages to be captivating at the same time so captivating that the emotions of the song are inescapable. At twenty-six minutes long, its also his longest work, and shows a wide range of ability and cohesiveness.

An album of thoughts about some girls that valzi knows just now, but whom he is not related to. These heartfelt character sketches and chilly anxieties will soothe you, leaving you with the feeling that everything will be alright after all.

Resident artist Shiftless is back ! Not only is he the first artist to ever release on camomille, but he's also one of the artists who helped shape that camomille sound. Following up on his single Empty and Matricaria Chamomilla's Emenating Spirits, Cloudburst is composed of 2 sweet tracks who will definitely make you shiver; flowin' of implicity and introspection, these tracks are so organic it's as if they breathe, as if they lived. Slowly screaming of painfull beauty, strings and piano fuse...

More than a year went by since he last released on camomille, but Camomille owner Vincent Fugère is back, this time as Kaminari Synthesis, releasing 35 minutes of soothing idm/indie rock vibes to ya'll. The ep starts where his kikapu release left off, exploring introspection, flight, nature, life and death with grandiose pad+guitar melodrama and idm beats wrapped in a glitchy, naive physiology.

A few months ago, the Numia website hosted their first Netlabel Battle in which a netlabel chooses two musicians to represent them and let the people vote for their favorite tune. Good friends Makunouchi Bento won the competition, but our entrants, kaneel and surasshu, placed 2nd and fourth in their respective voting groups. Kaneel brought his usual angstfilled, glitch powered beauty, and surasshu made an amazing and dark dnb/plaidish roller. + Kaneel's entry was chosen to be featured on the...

Camomille is very proud to present James Wallace's first ever ep unto the netlabel world. Having released single tracks on a number of awesome compilations on Acedia, freshpoulp and our own Featherfoil, and also coming up with a track on Neo-Ouija's Cottage Industries #4, he comes back to camomille with 18 minutes of superbly beautiful idm.Subtle and calm and full of static movements, The open directory project's 'dried lips ep ' dwells within serene noise scapes and glitchy contractions and...
